๐Ÿ’ก
Requires Quantum Storage. The printer pulls materials from your Quantum Storage to weld blueprints. Make sure you have the required resources deposited with !qs store, !qs storegrid, or !qs storeblock first. See Quantum Storage for details.

๐Ÿ“– How It Works

Normally in Space Engineers, you place a Projector, load a blueprint, and weld it block by block. The Quantum Printer does the same thing โ€” but wirelessly. Save a blueprint from any projector you own, then start printing it from anywhere. It pulls components from your Quantum Storage and welds the blueprint over time, even while you're offline.

This does NOT replace in-game welding. The printer processes blueprints one at a time at a controlled pace. Stacking, manual welding, or shipyard printers will always be faster. Think of it as a passive build assistant.

๐Ÿ“ Blueprint Library

Save as many blueprints as you like. Each one stores the full block list and material requirements so you can check costs before printing.

๐Ÿ—๏ธ One at a Time

Only one blueprint prints at a time. Once started, it processes blocks in sequence until complete. Cancel at any time โ€” unspent materials are refunded.

๐Ÿ“ฆ Pulls from QS

All components are pulled from your Quantum Storage. If you run out of a resource, the printer waits โ€” it does not fail. Deposit more and it resumes at the next cycle.

๐Ÿ†• First-Time Setup

Here's exactly how to use the printer:

!qp save Saves the blueprint from the projector you are looking at. You must own the projector. The blueprint blueprint name and material requirements are stored. !qp list Lists all your saved blueprints with their weld times and index numbers. !qp view 1 Shows detailed material requirements for blueprint #1. !qp start 1 Starts printing blueprint #1. Components are pulled from your QS automatically. !qp status Check progress at any time โ€” shows current job, percentage complete, and estimated time remaining.

That's it. The printer runs in the background and your finished grid will be waiting when the job is done.

โŒจ๏ธ In-Game Commands

All Quantum Printer commands use the !qp prefix. Every player can use them.

!qp save Look at projector

Saves the projected blueprint from the projector you are looking at. You must own the projector. The blueprint name, block list, and total material requirements are saved to your personal blueprint library. You can save the same blueprint multiple times โ€” each save is independent.

!qp list No params

Lists all your saved blueprints with their index number and estimated weld time. Use the index number for !qp view, !qp start, and !qp delete.

!qp view 1 param

View the full material requirements for a saved blueprint. Shows every component type and quantity needed so you know what to deposit into QS before printing.

!qp start 1 param

Start printing a blueprint by its index number. Only one blueprint can print at a time โ€” starting a new one will cancel the current job and refund all unspent materials. Components are pulled incrementally from your Quantum Storage as the printer welds each block.

!qp cancel

Cancel the active print job. All unspent components are refunded to your Quantum Storage. Already-welded blocks are kept โ€” only future blocks are cancelled.

!qp delete 1 param

Delete a saved blueprint from your library. This does not affect any active print job โ€” use !qp cancel first to stop and refund a running print.

!qp status No params

View your current printer status โ€” shows the active blueprint name, weld progress percentage, blocks remaining, and estimated time to completion.

!qp notify Toggle

Toggles Discord DM notifications for printer completions on or off. When enabled, you'll receive a Discord DM every time a print job finishes. Run the command again to disable. You must have linked your Discord account first โ€” see Discord Integration.
